possible female..... update NEW

dan_binderup Jun 16, 2004 08:13 AM

Hey.
as some of you know, my brb female laid two slugs and one fullterm baby, that died soon after being born. anyway, my female snacthed a mouse the day after, and two more this sunday. but these last two three days it looks like she has a lumpon the lower part of her body. and i don't think it the mice, because they were pretty small, and they should be digested by now. I really don't know what to think.
is this normal? or what should I expect?
hope to get some good answers.

ps. I will post a pic. as soon as i get a camera.

Best regards

Dan,
. The lump may be another slug. My BRBs usually do not have problems delivering baies but slugs seem to stick to the oviduct and cause problems. Try letting her swim in the bath tub for awhile. Increased hydration and the muscular swimming action may help.
Good Luck,
Jeff
