Feeding Hatchling RES

I have a baby RES in a ten gallon aquarium with UVA/UVB and a basking lamp. When the weather is nice I take him outside and leave him in a 46" kiddie pool with a screen top and plenty of spots to bask and ample amounts of shade. I've had this little guy for a month and a half now and he's just eating pellet food(Reptomin). He won't take anything else. I'm worried that he's not getting enough of the right nutrients since he's only eating the pellets. I keep dark leafy greens in both set ups for him to munch on and it looks like he's been nibling on those. I've tried earthworms, bloodworms, brine shrimp, and freshly killed guppy fry and he's not taking any of it. Is there anything I can do to help him eat better? Thanks for your help.I'm kinda new at this but I've been reading everything I can about these guys and we even went to the vet! Any help is much appreciated!

It sounds like you are doing just fine. Pellets and greens are the way to go, just keep greens in with him all the time, my guys love them. As babies they need more protein, so they will eat the pellets faster. Just make sure you don't overfeed him, it is very easy to do since they always act hungry. I don't know why he won't take those other things, but they really aren't that important. You could try live crickets, my guys love chasing them.
