hi everyone, wondering what type of bulbs for basking people use?? i have been keeping reptiles for a while and have always bought zoo-med bulbs. i have been reading that 45 watt halogen flood bulbs work great. anyone use them??

I use the zoo med 50s and 100s with few problems. Their halogens have not lasted very long for me. You are better off going to home depot for those.

i use a 45 watt halogen it worked great for me through the winter, now i still use the same bulb, just moved puff's basking spot down a lot
