Ok i lack sufficient knowledge in the waterscape field so im looking for someoen to help me out...

This is what i want to do..
Out of the backwall of my tank i want to have a water fall that runs down the back wall of my tank and into a river which leads into a pond. The pond running the entire length of my tank and being 3.5 inches wide.

I want to keep this water constantly circulating so as soon as the water from the river hits the pond its being moved back to the water fall again....

anyone think they can help? thanks a lot

as for the water fall you can get a water pump at lowes. im not sure how bulky they are but i think they have adjustable gph switches.

i have a shark pump/filter. i tried to make a little stream for my firebellys but it didnt work all i did was add 1/2" od tubing to the oulet of the pump and ran it under the substate. also audio taylor has a web page on how to make a running stream. i dont think thats what you want but it may give you some ideas. when i find the site ill e-mail it to you.

One quick qeustion
Does the water fall out of the river into the false bottom at the end? or does it just stay there?

well it seems for some reason that page isnt working at the moment.

but if i remember right, he made a false bottom and had a normal water pump/filter bringing the water up from the bottom to the pvc pipe river. he put down the soil, and pea gravel in the area that the water flows into. so the water will quickly makes its way to the false bottom then be re-circulated back to the pump where the process is repeated.
