Florida legislation?

Aka2212 Jun 16, 2004 09:48 AM

Hi!!

I heard that Florida should have an special procedure for obtaining a permit to keep venemous snakes.

Does anyone know a website where i can learn more about it?

Here in denmark most venemous snakes have been forbidden so we would like to try to convince the government that there is a better alternative the a complete ban.

They probably wont listen, but it's always worth a try

Thanx

Jakob

Being in Florida, we already have a good permit system in place. You need 1000 hrs documented experience and two letters from individuals knowing of your experience. For further information check out Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at www.MYFWC.com

The permit system is basicly meaningless.
If only one state has it.
Since all you have to do is go to a state where its
anything goes and buy snakes till you hearts content.
It only applies if you live in florida.
And are honest enough to pay the 100.00.
And obey the regulations.
