Question on feeding cups.

Alec_B Jun 16, 2004 03:54 PM

Hello, I am currently setting up a terrarium for a baby veiled chameleon. I have been doing LOTS of reasearch for them and know there food, water, supplements, housing needs. But I have one question: Would it be of if i set multiple feeding cups (2-3) around the cage and put only a couple bugs in each so the cham could hunt a bit more. I just thought this was a cool idea but im not sure if it might stress the cham in anyway or make too many problems. Thanks!

Sounds like a pretty darn good idea to me, shouldn't cause stress. Maybe have 2 smaller ones and one main one. Just use a cottage cheese container or something, make sure it's opaque, toehrwise they try to eat the insects from underneath...they get quite confused...

Good luck with your new little guy when he comes along
