Here is my new lil' Puff Adder, Blow Viper or Prairie Rooter for you farmer types, doing his best "I'm poisonous, please hit me with a shovel" impersonation. This is my wife and kid's favorite snake, they actually think he's "cute". The best I got before with my other snakes was "interesting" or "kinda cool looking, but don't put him on me". They actually like to hold this one (after I get him out when he is done bluff adding). I didn't want to mess up the vibe by telling them he is rear-fanged with a mild venom. They don't need to know that cause he won't ever bite anyway!

LOL! It took about a year of my corrections before my dad finally stopped calling mine "Puff Adders.” I don't know where they get these names... He also calles painted turtles "jimmies." - He grew up on a farm in Ohio though so you never know.
Oh and "Prairie Rooter!" I never heard of that one but I like it the most!
