monster Mandarin pic

this is one of our larger female Mandarins, it is REALLY impressive to see such a beautiful snake at this size. she is breeding now, but not yet gravid, but she is just a robust, vibrant animal.

it makes all the hard work worthwhile : )

That is the biggest Mandarin I have ever seen. Is that the average size of an adult? Great snake, thanks for sharing Tom

What? Do you give it growth hormones, or somethin'? LOL. It looks to be well over 3 ft. Do you know the length?

That's a nice looking Mandarin too. Hope she produces for you.

TC.

that animal is just a bit under 5 ft, which does seem gargantuan for Mandarins : )

Wow, that must be close to a record

Wow, that is an amazing looking snake. I love the size and color on it. I definitely want to buy some babies from her in the future. Good luck with her this year, and once again congrats on a great looking snake.

Have a good day,

Wow, I really hope one of mine ends up that size! What size prey does she eat? I've noticed mine tend to eat smaller prey than I would think they'd be able to. I've heard of a WC male that was almost 7ft (see link) http://www.pythons.net/herpjournal/mandarins.html
but no pic to verify.
She's gorgeous!
