NEED HELP ON IDENTIFICATION

I just purchased a gecko from a local pet store called a Giant Walking Gecko. I beleive they are also calle dgiant banded geckos. however, i can find no information about them anywhere online, nor any pictures. i only know that they are a tropical species. if anyone can help me, id really appreciate it. thanks

It is either Cyrtodactylus louisiadensis or Cyrtodactylus irianjayaensis. They are both semi-arboreal/arboreal species. search for pics of those two species.

I am almost sertain the "walking" part refers to louisiadensis species. Dont ask why, but working at a petshop you get tons of these common names thrown at you.

Thanks for the information. Just curious...are these common geckos to see in pet shops and such, because they sure are hard to find information on.

Ok so i now know that my gecko is a Cyrtodactylus irianjayaensis, but i am not sure what the common name is, and any other information about this animal, which I cannot seem to find online. Any suggestions? by the way, hers a pic of him
