Picture of the Eggs I received.

Well I just went and picked up the 2 eggs that my brothers friends gecko laid. They were in his enclosure sinse this afternoon. He and I have never owned geckos. Because I have a few ball pythons he thought that I'd have better luck hatching them.
Well I followed all the procedures given on the cite that people recomended. The eggs do look a little dehydrated. What can I do to make them look plump like they should? What is a good place to put them at. I would like to incubate them to be female. I was thinking of placing the container they ar in to a small rubbermaid and setting them on the cool side while the rubbermaid rests on 4 inch heatape, is this a good idea? Thanks, Dave.

sorry to break it to you,
but it seems like they have dried up.
if I was in your position, I would take a moist paper towel and put it over the eggs to see if it regains its original form. If they dont start to plump up, then theres really no use of incubating them.

Make sure you have the perlite moist but not dripping wet and put a moist paper napkin them for a couple of days. They should plump up if the dehydration didn't already kill them.

Also, since your female is laying, you should have a moist box in her cage so this doesn't happen again.

Thats pretty much how I incubate mine but I use a ten gallon tank with sand in it and set the rubbermaid kind of in the middle so only a small portion of one side is on the heated area. Has worked great for leos, fat tails, house geckos, anoles and day geckos. Oh yeah I keep the temp between 78-83 degrees.
