Hi all, just got back from taking "Eddie" for his first classroom visit. He was a hit!!!! All the kids thought he was very cool (even the one that thought he was an iguana for 95% of the visit). My son was able to answer most of the questions on care and upkeep on him so I guess he really does pay attention to me when I talk. We were able to let him roam about the room a bit and I think almost everyone petted him (except one of the girls--- there's one in every crowd). He wasn't interested in eating while he was there which didn't surprise me and he didn't go to the bathroom which I was very grateful for. I even was able to wander down to my 2 nieces classes and pop in to say "hi" with Eddie. When I took him home I tried to give him some water but he wasn't interested. He just wanted to explore his tank and make sure it was the same as when he left it. Thanks for all the advice from the forum I think everyone enjoyed the visit. L.
