the color changes like yours in the pic. Nice bairdi. Does it have a mate for the future? One of my '02 pair were produced by a pair that was collected the Linares Canyon area of Nuevo Leon, Mexico in August of 1985. They were also collected on a permit. It looks like the head in the pic is beginning to develop the gray and the pattern is disappearing. Good luck

It has a mate, a sibling. They are from the Hammacks. What genus are these now, Pantherophis or Elaphe?
but it will take awhile for the transition.

I was wondering what to write on there cage label.
Nice details on the pic, very nice close up. Good luck with those guys, I'm waiting to see if my bairdi breed this year.
Have a good day,
Gregg F.
I haven't seen too many pics of these so I thought it would be neat to show them in transition as they are now getting there gray heads. Good luck on your bairdi, I've got a Texas bairdi that should be laying in a few days.
colors/patterns. Keep us updated on your eggs, and good luck with them.
