Ingo, thought I should add this shot of the mystery dragon next to a capra...................

both are just under 4 inches SVL. You can see how developed the crest and horns are on the capra while the horns are barely nubs on the other. The capra is the one on the right

If I based an opinion on nothing else I would still say lepidogaster. In the other photos I posted I felt pretty positive that the brown one was a lep but the green isn’t like any I’ve seen. I have more photos that the owner sent me and from above they both look like males but we aren’t certain. If they are both male then I will be sending her a CBB capra in exchange for the brown one. Sure wish I could find a pair but they are so sporadic here in the states!

Anyway, here’s the photo.............

From that Pic I would also say lepidogaster.
The only puzzling thing is the large number of strong tubercles.
I´ll try to look it up if thats compatible with the lepidogaster ID-but again: from that angel, I´d spontaneously say lepidogaster.
From that Pic I think its also quite obvious that this specimen is a male.
You see, one needs quite some pics to find an opinion. Its alsways easier wehn you have the animals in hand.

Hope that helps

Ingo

That is certainly true. On hands would make a huge difference. The lady that has him plans to keep the green one pictured in this tread and if the brown is a male too then that will be mine. We will both be on the lookout for females if that is the case.

I do appreciate your input. I don't know anyone else who is so familiar with so many species as you. I always respect your opinions.

Thanks
