Japanese Ratsnake Clutch - PICS

Ophidiophile Jun 17, 2004 02:30 PM

Been a while since I've posted here and I see people are posting pics of eggs and such, so here's a contribution:

Mom (het-for-albino produced by Tom Harrison):

Dad (albino produced by Mark & Kim Bell):

Eggs (produced by Mom & Dad ):

According to my records, my previous clutches of climacophora (all Kunasirs) pipped in 49, 50 and 51 days. These eggs are at day 47 today and have just begun sinking in so they should hopefully hatch in the coming week. There were 6 total but 1 went bad. The five remaining look good - here's hoping!

My pair laid 10 this year, 7 which look good. Wish mine were het and/or albino, but I'm not complaining. Even the normals are gorgeous. What temps do you incubate at? I've got my calender mark at 60 days for them, but that's what I do for all my snakes, even though my blues hatched at 55 last year.

I incubate them at 82-83.
