When incubating eggs....

...if water is dripping on the eggs and substrate is too wet then it can interfare with normal egg respiration. Try to aim for about 80% humidity. Try to remove some water from the egg container.

Scott, I have heard that eggs can actually burst from being too wet. I have never personally witnessed this but still monitor my eggs for too much moisture. Is this true? I believe though, the species I heard this about was chondros.

Am I mistaken when I say that the humidity in a no-substrate incubation method is 100% but the eggs have NO contact with the water in the container?
