Which species?

I am interested in getting a pair of terrestrial geckos. I would like any reccomendations on which types of ground dwelling geckos you all have had success with. I already have leopards and fat tails. I really like the knob tails but can't afford them just yet. Something similar would be great though.
Suggestions Please!!!
Thanks
Steve

I'd go with a pictus gecko, or a desert banded gecko. Two of my favorites (besides leopard geckos) that are readily available and fairly hardy!

Stenodactylus(dune geckos) are inexpensive, easy to care for and neat little geckos.
