Heres what i posted yesterday to someone asking the same question:

short answer, NO,

long answer, if you have the time money and expertise to build a large enough enclosure (i.e. the size of one room) and the resources to find other animals that come from the same part of the world as the leo (unlikley because not to many new types pets are coming out of the middle east)with exactly the same care, then by all means go ahead, but other than that is just isnt the best of ideas. it will save you heart break, and money down the road. *rule of thumb when mixing species* ~ if you need to ask about it in an internet forum, then you dont have the knowledge to mix species. now please dont take offence to that! its just my way of getting my point across. also good for you to look into the subject before purchasing the reptiles!!!!!
