The sub adult I got today is pretty wild. He hasn't bitten me yet but I haven't handled him much. He musked me and seemed very flighty...Will these guys tame down or are they always like this??

Most do slow down with age. Just restrain it as little as possible when handling it,the best you can without it getting away from you. Mine are about 2 years old now and 4 and 5 foot long, I thought I was going to get tagged by them numerous times since I had them but knock on wood I have never been bit yet. It seems the younger they are the faster and more squirmy they can be. Most people will agree this gradually changes with age for the better, Tom
