Need Advice On Keeping Mealies & Supers in the Refrige - PLEASE

jwr0201 Jun 19, 2003 05:08 PM

Please give me some advice on keeping mealies and superworms in the refrigerator. I keep my mealies in the frige, and ordered some supers. Can superworms be kept in the frige and can they be kept with mealworms together in the same container while in hibernation?
Thanks, Rob

Nope supers are tropical beetle larva (zoophoba). They must be kept room temp. I keep 1000 at a time in chick feed in a rubbermaid tub with some potato chunks or carrots for moisture.
