Rat question....short

rttlrvenom Jun 18, 2004 11:55 AM

How hight can a rat jump to get out of its cage. I have a sterilite that has about 18 inch to the nearest thing a rat could even get a possible grip on is this ok or should I put a lid on.

thanx

I don't know what the record is...but I have rats that can easily jump out of the tall 5 gal pails. My vote is Yup, you will need a lid.
