I currently bought an atheris broadleyi in good faith, but after recieving the animal i noticed some problems. It has its hemipenis protruding from the anal plate darkened and dried out. The snake looks to be heathly and was said to have been bred last year. I need some info on the how and whats of this problem. The nearest venomous vet to me is 4 1/2 hours away and I really dont want to stress the animal out on a trip like that. Thanks in advance for any and all information shared.
