help...plz

i had a very wide collection of nerodia and i had to get rid of them all everyone was complaining about how they stink and all. i had to change the water every day and sometimes it still had odor are there any good idea that i can use to keep them from stinking? If so then let me know. i had to lose....

3.2 banded water snakes
2.2 diamondback water snakes
0.1 yellow belly watersnakes
2.1 Graham's crawfish snakes
1.0 salt marsh snake
2.3 mississippi green water snakes
1.1 northern water snakes

Well.. I use Fluker's Extra Strength "Tank Cleaner" about every five times I clean out my plastic boxes that I keep mine in. They realy don't stink unless you stick your face in the box or the snake just took a crap. What did you do with the snakes?

I have never had Nerodia really stink. What was the bedding? Of course, it would smell if one just really let loose with feces, but normally mine would never smell at all.
