Egg laying question.

Hey, I recently discovered that my yellow bellied slider is pregnant (again). I have a place for her to lay eggs but she has only laid one and it was in the water. I have noticed her digging alot on her egg laying site but no eggs. She has laid eggs before alright but now I am confused, any help would be appreciated.
