Not a cornsnake, but the first time I ever produced them, so I am excited...

These are from a clutch of Chinese beauties I hatched from a group of babies I got from a friend in Hong Kong / China several years ago. He bought a gravid female at the market because she was hypo, hatched the eggs and sent the normal looking babies to me. It is excitng to finally hatch out the next generation and get hypos as I had hoped.

Naturally I am very interested in the project, but haven't found anyone else breeding hypos of this subspecies. If you know any other websites offering these, or just other breeders working with them, please let me know so I can research what is going on with them, and see if there are unrelated bloodlines around. I will also ask on the rat snake forum, but I know more people here so wanted to see what everyone here thinks first. (Are they still cute even though they have no red?)

I can't wait to see what colors will develop on them as adults. The lesser black should allow the pastels to show through.

I will try to photo my new eyelash vipers too, then after that, I promise it will be back to corn talk only!!

>>I don't know enough about them to offer much of an observation, other then the fact that those are two "beautiful" little beauty snakes.

LOL, you can go off topic as much as you want when you post pictures like that. Great stuff.. Did you make the pictures yourself or did Bill take them? We see quite a variety of Taiwan beauties in Holland. Albino, Calico but I have never head of a another morph of Chinese beauties. One of the advantages is that they stay smaller than the teaniura friesie right?

If I took them, you would not have been impressed, lol!

I used to have freesi several years ago, but they wouldn't fit in my cages anymore and I didn't want to buy new cages (no space!), so I had to give them up. These are much more "cornsnake size' and do fine in my Rubbermaid rack system.

I am sure I saw one or more hypo taeniura of some type at some of the bigger shows in the last few years, but can't remember which subspecies, or who had it.

I am hoping that the slight peach color on the necks of the adults will be much prettier on the hypos - can't wait to see them in a year or more.

Back onto Corns....what do you know about Harvest Albinos? Do you know were I could find a pic of one?

but am not very familiar with them. I think maybe somebody crossed a sunglow with a creamsicle (or maybe two other amels - can't remember). I don't know very many people working with them (have seen some with that label at a few shows) and don't know how many generations they have selectively bred them for a certain "look". I wasn't that interested in them myself so haven't paid too much attention to them. Maybe somebody who breeds them can answer better.

We cant legally own venomous here.If I could I would have eyelash vipers at the first of my list, then some gilas. The funny thing is I can own as many Israeli Deathstalkers as I want. There just not as fun as a nice viper.
