Question for Anthony

Remedy Jun 18, 2004 07:44 PM

Thank you for replying to my earlier post about my cresteds not laying eggs for me, Anthony.

In regards to the heat issue, i was referring to de Vosjoli's rhac book. It is about 75 during the day and about 65 at night. what kind of fixture/bulb combination do you use to get the hot spot? what are your lighting cycles like?

as for feeding, could you please recommend a weekly diet for a 1.1 breeding pair??

thank you so much for your help.

My adults are kept in racks and are given an 80 degree hotspot via heat tape. Heat is provided 24 hours per day, the light cycle is not closely watched controlled.

The diet I feed mine is on my website in the "Crested Gecko Basics" section.

I had the same problem as you last winter. The days were short and it turned out that the light cycle i had them on was too. I changed it so they recieved more, and longer light and literally that night i could hear some "weird" noises. It is worth a shot i think.
