So, my beardie is about 3 months old now. I've had him since he was 4 weeks. He's been great, growing steadily, but for the past few weeks whenever my husband or I put our hands in the cage, he opens his mouth really wide and has even tried to lunge at us. He basically seems nervous and if you get him out he calms down after a minute or so. He's bitten me once. People are telling me that this is unheard of and I should get rid of him, but I'd like to believe that this is a phase and it will get better. Has this happened to anyone else? We've handled him every day since we got him.
