I have had my green anole home since about 2pm thursday. It has not eaten any of the crickets I have put in there. But it is drinking just fine. What could be wrong?

First off, I'm not an expert, but I think it may just take a little while to get used to the new surroundings. If I so much as change a couple of things around in my tank, my Brown won't eat for a couple of days. Keep in mind that mine hadn't eaten for at least 3 weeks before it was rescued from a box it was accidentally packed in during a move. Now, it was skin and bones but it was still kicking. At least yours is drinking. That's a good thing.

If you have crickets running loose in the enclosure, make sure they have some food to nibble on. Without it, they may nibble on your anole instead. Your new anole will likely start to eat in a few days. I would only worry if it stops drinking.
