Did I make a mistake?

Ok I bought the coolpix 3200, with 3.2 mp. And now I am seeing these pictures of the coolpix 4200 or whatever that one is, with 4 mp. I cant afford any camera over that in my teenage life. I am no professional photographer or anything but will i beable to still take breath taking pics with my coolpix 3200? Or should I have saved up and went one step above? Is it a big deal? I need an antacid

Your camera will do a great job. Just get down on the animals level (on the ground in most cases) and shoot lots of pictures. Usually one or two out of the group will catch your eye so shoot LOTS from different angles. Pay attention to the direction of the sun or artificial light. Concentrate on the eyes of your subject and make sure they are in focus. I've seen some great photos come from that camera. The macro abilities can be stunning.

Good photographers take good pictures, not good cameras.

I am always amused when I see exceptional pictures on these forums and the first response is always "Great Photo! What kind of camera?".

Most of the good photographers on here (jpenney included) could take great photos with mediocre cameras. It is all about technique, not technology.

I always think you are better off buying the slightly cheaper model (as you did) and investing the remaining money in a good book about photographic composition.
