Very cool...congrats! Can't wait untill my climacs start coming out. But the good news is it looks like I should have my first clutch of blues and housesnakes hatched by the end of the week! And then I've got nearly one clutch due each week for about 5 weeks...yeah!

That's a lovely snake, congradulations... I've seen a couple pictures of the wild, fully striped climacs, but I didn't know it occured anywhere near where the albino strain comes from! That'll be a beautiful snake when it grows up.

...Twins!
The total clutch was 6 eggs but 1 had gone bad early on. Unfortunately the one directly under that egg also went bad and was probably infertile all along as it contained a solidified mass, no blood vessels, and no snake. So that left 4 good eggs. The first three eggs yielded 3 albinos. I couldn't believe my good luck on that but was a little bummed that I'd only have 4 snakes total from the clutch. Well egg 5 finally pipped and 2 heads came out - turns out there were 2 bodies too. That egg yielded 2 hets. So the final count is 3 albinos and 2 hets from 4 eggs! Will sex them after first shed...
I have a few other clutches from other species incubating but it's always great to hatch out something I haven't hatched before. Though I've hatched many clutches of Kunashiri climacs in the past, I'm psyched to have finally hatched out amel Honshu climacs - which I've wanted to work with for many years.
Thanks for all the congratulatory posts and great wishes!

Wow, congrats on the amazing looking albino posted above and on the twins!!! Great looking snakes, post some more pics once they have shed if you get a chance.
Congrats again,
