What kind of horned lizard?

Sm1nts2escape Jun 19, 2004 10:33 AM

The lizard is a desert species but it is not from the U.S.A. It's horns are larger than the texas horned lizard and they cover the whole body. It's body sort of resembles a chameleon's.Alot different than that of the flattened circle like shape of the texas horned lizard. This lizard is a anteater. It coloration is daker than that of the txas horned like the bark of a old tree.I believe the lizard comes from africa but I am not sure. Does anyone have a clue what kind of lizard this is? Thanks,
Sherman

You might be thinking of the Thorny Devil ( Moloch Horridus ). It lives in the deserts of Australia. Link pic here:
