Without a picture of it, none of us can diagnose it, and even then, we can't diagnose anything for sure (not many of us are vets, and some that are are in training).
Please get to a vet.
I waited all day to hear help, and all i get is one schlum who doesnt know squat, this forum blows
As the person previous to me stated it is hard to tell what it could be without a picture. To me it sounds like an abscess or it could be another type of infection. Either way you should take it to the vet to have it properly diagnosed. Also it is really immature and childish to go and disrespect someone for giving thier honest opinion in trying to help you. Calling someone a schlum just because he didnt give you the answer you wanted to hear is as I said childish. It is not his/her fault that they couldnt give you a direct answer and wave thier magic wand and make things all better for you. So the next time you want to bash someone please find somewhere else to do so.
Im never taking this chameleon to the vet, he doesnt even cost as much as the charges they will put on me.... and screw you
Is anyone here a forum monitor? Please have this SCHLUM banned from the site.
Thank you for co-operating (NOT) , but if you know what's right for your cham, you will take it to the vet. He might die if you don't, then that will prove your super-ability to care for chameleons.
shame on you
Guess what buddy, you have officially certified yourself as one dumb mother f#!@er who obviously shouldn't even own a jackson If you aren't willing to spend the time or money on taking proper care of him. How could you be that ignorant and stupid? Honestly... Then you get honest opinions from people who actually took the time to help your cro-magnin-sized brain with some insights and all you have to say is something stupid. Go find someone who actually cares about chameleons and give it away. I'd sure hate to be in your care if I was that jackson. No wonder it has problems. Stupid f!ck. Go get an ant farm or something. Maybe you could handle that...
did you really just say cro magnin? haha, thats great stuff, so if there is a moderator, should you discuss some of chico_dan85 actions, because even though mine were not in order, this person's childish retaliation was not in order...
Not everyone on this forum sits at their computer all day every day. Disregarding all the childish whining going on (and focusing attention where it belongs...on the sick and hurting cham) here's what is probably wrong. Your cham probably has an infected temporal gland. This is a small gland at the corner of the mouth. It is fairly common in jax, but can be difficult to cure. You WILL need the help of a vet, so if you refuse to do this you might as well give it to someone else or kill it now and save it from suffering. It is pretty painful. The infection will need both local treatment, possible lancing and draining, as well as systemic antibiotics to fight the infection. If all of this isn't done the infection can recur over and over and spread to the jaw bone. The cham will be so painful it will stop eating or drinking and die miserably.
The next time you get a pet consider the wonderful pet rock. It will never need a vet.
I am just saying what people have told me before and other people in similar situations, don't blow ur steam at me, buddy. Sorry for mis-informing you about ur cham.
This forum isn't for critisizing people.
