Hello Dave, since I had 1.2 Mendotas I bred the male with one female and she is in her pre-shed. So I should have some Mendotas. You are on top of the list and there are people behind you waiting as well. I bred the other female Mendota with my Albino High White male. I also bred the male Mendota to a 50-50 female and to my chocolate banded female (already laid 11 eggs) and to my chocolate w/yellow stripe female (Carlsbad). Hope all these projects produce some nice stuff.

Rick Staub has the Davis locale and they look similar to the Mendotas. I only saw his babies. I didn't see the adults. Not all the Mendota cal kings are dark chocolate and aberrant like mine sooo.... I am hoping it is a recessive gene. That is why I did the breeding projects with the Mendotas that I did. I will know this summer if it is recessive or dominat, etc...

Next year I will know for sure if the "ghost" cal kings that I got from BHB are recessive......

I find the black & white longnose snakes around Bagdad all the time. I can keep a pair for you if you want them, let me know....those are free BTW
