Anyone used heat rope?

How did it do? Would you recomend it over heat tape for basic under tank heating?

Works great, however, it needs to be taped down every few inches, making it kind of a pain. It is best when routed into melamine or PVC. Heat tape is simply easier to fix under most cage bottoms when taping it to the cage bottom directly.

And I will be routing a track for it in the bottom of a melamine cage.
