All my toads died!!!!!!!

herpheart13 Jun 19, 2004 08:21 PM

I had 7 southern toads. I had them in a good sized house. Then one day one died. Then a few days later another died. The pattern continued until they all died. Before they'd die, they lay super still for like 2 days. Then they'd die. Any ideas what happened??

Without knowing everything about their husbandry, including tank size, substrate, frequency of cleaning, water source, nutrition, etc, or without a physical description of them before the died, even speculating won't do any good.

They got SICK. And the one clearly spread it to the others. When a toad is acting weird, it's a good idea to quaruntine it so it doesn't give whatever it might have to everyone else.
