From the species you said you liked, I would recommend either the Jacksons or the Veiled chameleon. I kept Jacksons before I kept veileds, and my Jax did fine for a long time. Jacksons need a cooler temperature range than a veiled does. Jacksons prime temps would be something like 60-85 within a cage, while a veiled would need temps from about 60-100ish. The night temperatures don't need to be that low, but they can. Fishers chameleons are typically wild caught, and for a first chameleon, W/C would be a bad direction to go. If you can find some CB Fishers from a reliable source, and you want one, go for it. Their care is similar to Jacksons, but just because someone advertises CB, doen't mean it is. The key is a reliable/reputable source, whichever species you get. Good luck with your search.

P.S. I'd kill for temperatures in that range outside.... In Las Vegas, it goes from too cold to too hot in about a week. If I were you, I'd use that to your advantage, and keep the chameleon outside (i.e. Jacksons).

i know everyone says that veilds are the easiest to care for but i think jacksons are and expesially with your wheather temps. i have never had any probs with them and i have with my veild and jacksons are way more friendly, but even with those temps you will still need a heat lamp with almost any chameleon.
