How old or large does a male have to be before he starts to fertilize the eggs? Or does it primarily have to do with the female on whether she is able to produce eggs yet. My female is able to produce eggs and is 6-7 inches. My make is only 3 months younger but he is about 4 inches and I am wondering if together they are able to produce fertile eggs. My male has done the mating dance with my female. You know the one with the fluttering paws or something. But I was just thinking that he's to small for her. Anyway I am just curious.
