Well, it's not a beauty queen, but it's realy neat! Not just because it is almost EIGHT FEET LONG and THREE FEET DEEP !!!

But because my entire cost ended up being about $10 !!

I was flipping rocks looking for snakes and lizards about 4-5 mos ago, nad I stumbled across a sheet of glass that someone had discarded. That glass was EXTREMELY dirty, but it was 7.5' x 2' !

My wheels started turning, but since I have a new daughter money is TIGHT!! I scrounged and dumpster dove and bummed from my dads scrap pile and ended up building her out of stuff I already had!!
The $10 bucks was for some screen and a few hinges!!

I will be installing the UV lights this week, and I'll be set!
I will post picts when it is inhabited!!

Actually that is not a bad looking cage. And for $10, I doubt anyone can beat that price! I'll bet that glass was heavy, it looks like it will be put to good use.

anything? I need to make a similiar cage for my Bearded dragons only a bit smaller maybe between 4 and 6 ft long. I was thinking that the chipboard or whatever you call it would need to be coated with something but am not sure what to use. Cant wait to see what yours looks like when its inhabited..What are putting in it?

I'm putting collareds in it. It will be dry inside, so I'm not too worried about moisture or swelling.
