Here are some pictures of my new licorice stick black rat snake (also known as a white sided black rat snake). Her name is Lola,just over a year old, and soon I hope to be getting a male to mate her with in a few years by the name of Frankie (any Jimmy Buffett fans may remember this song, seeing how I live in Pensacola, lol). What are everyone's feelings on this idea? She's approx 22 inches head to tail...I have noticed head to vent is a common measurement, but I don't really know where the "vent" is, nor WHAT it is.
