my pacman died today, i found it sitting by its water bowl with its eyes half shut. I have no idea what the cause was as it was eating and moving about just normally hours before hand

i have it in a 10 gallon tank with bed-o-beast, water bowl and a heat lamp on one side of the tank, and mist it twice a day and temperature is usually around 26 degrees celsius.

Any idea what may have caused its death?

i am so sorry for your loss. it would be very hard to deterimne cause of death with frogs. It is amazing what kinds of problems they could have. I am soon finding that out. if you are really concerned you can perserve the poor little guy and send him for a necropsy. That can be quite expensive though.

i'm just wondering if there was something wrong with my setup

What type of water and bedding? How often were both changed? I have had frogs earlier on in my life that died of toxicity (or some related conditions) in a matter of an hour or two since symptoms showed.
