A few chuck pics in the lizard pen, and even a Yarrow Spiny :P

johne Jun 20, 2004 07:39 AM

Thought you might like to see the yarrow David. She's the size of my larges collared (nearly).

Heres is is munching on some dandelion greens.

this chuck has developed a craving for crickets at nearly 2 years of age. He wouldn't touch them as a youngin. I put a container full of crickets in there the other day for my collareds, and the chuck decided to go in and try some. He ate about 15 small ones in a sitting. Could have beent the soy protein powder I've been supplementing my crickets with...who knows. Something made them tast good.

I love the one of him munching. Never get tired of seeing chucks. How is the refurbished pen working out?

The pen is working out great. I had a nice male red head agama make the escape, so I decided to get rid of them all. I sent them all off to John Castellanos. He is having great luck with the agamas anyway.

The agamas were very aggressive feeders, and probably would have put a huge dent in the japanese beetle population in the pen LOL.
I loved seeing them in the pen, but I'll get to see John's pics just as well.

I'm hoping to get one of DVL's mutt females this week if it quit raining in Texas this weekend. I've excited to see how my male chuck reacts to another chuckwalla.

I'll get a pictures of him in the cricket container eating crickets next time.

This guy is starting to look like a redback hybrid. I wonder if Ian Murrays Charles didn't nail her, David.
