Cage Size

Looking to up-size the cage for my yr. old Veiled. Would a 24"x24"x36" be large enough, or would the extra space of the 48" tall cage do wonders for the health & welfare of my bug-eyed buddy?? I'm kinda tight on space when it comes to height because his cage already sits on top of a 2' tall Tegu cage, but I'd deal with it if the extra 12" would substantually increase the health/welfare of my Veiled. Opinions anyone?

The sitting on top of the trgu cage is a very good idea, many say it's necessary, and I agree. The 48" tall cage is the best idea. It might make the need for taller plants and sticks/vines but it does make for a happier chameleon. If you can't find tall enouf plants, find a large ice cream container, turn it upside-down and put the pot on top of it. That should add about 10" tot he height of the plant, just make sure it's stable, and he has sticks/vines that he can climb to get back into/onto the plant(s).
