Black Milksnake

HerpHeaven Jun 20, 2004 10:57 AM

Can anyone tell me what would be a good size aquarium for an adult black milksnake? Is a 33 Galleon (3 x 1 x 1 1/2) enough?

Thanks in advance

An adult black milk could exceed 6 feet in length within 4-5 years. A snake that long should really be in a a cage about 4 feet by 2 feet. The 3x1 cage will be ok for a year or two, but eventually the snake will be too large.
