Rearing houseflies

Ihad a question on wild caught flies.I have read about bacteria but what if you collected them and properly gutloaded and waited afew offspring.would the then become healthy for your cham?thanks matt

I don;t know if it's super-sanitary, it's hard to catch enough flies to be able to rear them anyway. Order them from a feeder and they will be guaranteed healthy, and probably in better condition to breed (i.e. produce larger, healthier offspring).

Search flies feeder on google and you might find somehting, or just laook around your favourite feeder sites, they should have some flies.

yeah, it's not worth the risk. Skipio's and Kammerflage both sell fly pupa and/or larva
