Good luck, Your best bet is to either hunt vacant lots or head over to Homestead-Fla city. Dade and Broward counties are so built out and over populated that short of the Everglades (which is protected so you can't hunt)there is next to nothing left. Most I know who still collect do so up state. These days it is cheaper to buy the species you might seek anyway.
