Nice. I have never heard of anyone incubating or even keeping reptiles in perlite. That is just the little white balls in potting oil aint' it? Exactly wha is it made of?

It is very porous small white. It is like a cross between gravel and styrofoam. It works as good or better than vermiculite.
Hmmmmm. thanx for that info. I've been avoiding it.lol. Learn something new everyday.

hallo,
perlite is a material witch origin came from volcano-stone
-> perlitestone.
With a special procedure (over 1000° , 1832° fahrenheit) it will be inflated. Used by the construction industry as insulant.
