how big does a beardie have to be in order it be moved to a 55 gallon tank? or is it ok to skip the 10 or 20 gallon tank and put him straight into the 55 gallon? this is assuming i get a baby or juvenile beardie.

a bearded dragon should be at least a sub-adult before being moved into a 55 gallon tank. for juvinile i would suggest a 20 gallon tank because of the fact that if the tank is too big it will have trouble finding food, water, etc. for a baby i would suggest a 10 gallon tank for the same reason.

well he's not exactly a baby anymore, he's over 9 inches, and eats full size crix now. He's nearlt half as long as his tank, and he looks crowded sumtimes.
Here's a pic of him a week ago (but he's 9.5 inches now)-
So i was thinkin maybe a 20-30 gallon tank (leanin more towards 30 b/c he's growing so fast)
