Black Gap alterna

chas3323 Jun 20, 2004 08:54 PM

Got back from a three night trip to sanderson this friday and was wanting to hear more about the two gap animals that were caught on wednesday. Dont know the story just heard that it was on the same cut and maby a pair. Also know of three alterna being caught on monday night and one on tuesday night in the sanderson area. We got rained out on wed. lighting, wind, rain, and cooler temps starting at about 10:30pm. Didnt see much the whole week but meet some nice people so all in all a fun quick trip. Hope everone else is doing better than we did. Shane

I spoke w/ Pete this afternoon. He found a 20" female light alterna morph w/ only a few scales of orange at the Stillwell cut at 2:00. He was shining one side of the cut and his wife was shining the other on there way back to their room after cruising the traditional area.

His friend Steve, found a 30 to 32" male, unfortunately I don't recall pattern description, on the Stillwell cut at appx.10:15 the same day/date.
