how are to keep CWD

speterturtle Jun 21, 2004 12:50 AM

I've always been interested in one. How hard are they to keep? I've seen them at my local petco for about 28$ babies i assume.
Whats a standard housing for CWD? Do they interact with people well?

An adult needs a minimum of 350 gallons of space, which usually means a custom built cage. They aren't the easiest things to keep, and are pretty expensive to house and feed. I spent 100 dollars a month on electricity for them alone. They aren't something you want to jump into owning on a whim, you have to have a lot of time and money to invest.
