Wes Comment: Yes, 'poisonous' .... well, more poisonous than venomous ... maybe, I think ... sort of. Well, at least it's a lot closer to the truth than most of the 'poisonous snake' stories we find in press! Cheers, Wes

DAILY TIMES (Lahore, Pakistan) 20 June 04 Youth swallows snake in Sialkot
Sialkot: A young labourer, Adil, 18, swallowed a snake while drinking water along Shahabpura Uggoki Road. Adil started vomiting and bleeding from the mouth, and eventually fell unconscious on the spot.
A large number of people gathered around and took him to a local hospital in critical condition, where the doctors said he was out of danger.
