Common forest chameleon

Corytophanes cristatus is another of the persistently arboreal, tree trunk or large limb dwelling, lizards of the neotropics. This is the species most often offered by the American pet trade.

casque-headed lizard, Lemanctus longipes.
Although closely allied to the forest chameleons, the two members of the genus Lemanctus, both canopy dwellers, are always some shade of green while the shade-dwelling forest chameleons are predominantly brown.
The common forest chameleon is below.
